Jon received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 1991. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

He has 20 years of experience in the private and public sectors of accounting. He has spent the majority of his profession career working in the marine and construction industries. He has held the position on Chief Financial Officer for a $100 million luxury yacht manufacturing and sales company. He has also served as a Corporate Controller for several Tampa Bay area companies. The experience and expertise gained through working in the private accounting sector allows him to bring real life solutions to his clients. He has a key role in the Controller and Accounting Services section of the firm.

He is a life-long resident of St. Petersburg and is continually involved in community events throughout Pinellas County. He has previously served as Treasurer on his local church board. He is currently a member of Pinellas Community Church in St. Petersburg and serves as a volunteer youth leader.
